HSD stands for High Speed Data and is a high-density interface available in 1-pin, 4-pin, 6-pin (4+2), and 4+4 pin (Dual HSD) configurations to meet various data and power needs. The core 4-pin data interface is designed based on the “star-four principle”, where the opposite wires form a balanced wire pair to minimize crosstalk and EMI. As the name implies, HSD is dedicated to high-speed data transfer, offering high signal quality and interference safety for the demanding automotive industry.
