The BNC connector (an initialism of Bayonet Neill CConcelman) is a miniature quick connect/disconnect radio frequency connector. BNC connectors are most commonly made in 50 and 75 ohm versions. Matched for use with cables of the same characteristic impedance.

BNC RF connectors isolate the video input signal, reducing mutual interference between signals and increasing signal bandwidth to get the best signal response.
